Job Description

Data Analytics & Operational Monitoring

  • Analyse operational and system data to identify trends, issues and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and enhance dashboards for system health, equipment status, spare-parts availability and operational KPIs
  • Support the development of network monitoring dashboards to monitor device status, connectivity and performance
  • Clean, validate and consolidate data from different sources
  • Support reporting automation and continuous improvement of dashboards


Learning Outcomes & Objectives

  • Gain practical experience in data analysis and visualisation
  • Develop dashboard and reporting skills
  • Understand how data supports operational monitoring and decision-making
  • Gain exposure to IT/OT systems, infrastructure and network monitoring
  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills


Prerequisites / Skills Required

  • Basic data analysis and visualisation skills
  • Excel and Power BI knowledge preferred
  • Basic SQL/database knowledge is an advantage
  • Basic networking knowledge is an advantage
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and willing to learn


Education

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics / Business Analytics / Information Systems / Computer Science / IT / Network Engineering, or a related discipline


Additional Information / Requirements

  • Student Status: Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at a recognized Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) in Singapore
  • Credit-Bearing & Graduation Requirement: The internship must be a compulsory, credit-bearing component of your academic program required for graduation
  • Duration & Availability: Able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum period of 16 consecutive weeks
