About the role

This isn't a traditional sales job. Our Management Trainee programme trains you to build and run your own financial advisory practice on AIA's platform. Over 24 months you'll learn how to advise individuals, families, and business owners on protection, investments, retirement, and legacy planning, and you'll build a client base that belongs to your practice.

If you're drawn to wealth management, portfolio thinking, or running your own business one day, this programme gives you structured training, mentorship, and real client work from the start.

What you'll do

• Complete structured training and the required MAS licensing exams (CMFAS), with study support provided
• Learn financial needs analysis, investment-linked and portfolio conversations, and retirement and legacy planning
• Build and manage your own client relationships, first with guidance and then on your own
• Take part in workshops, corporate wellness (AIA WorkWell) engagements, and community events
• Track your own growth metrics with a mentor who meets you every week
• Grow toward leadership, with an option to build and lead your own team later

Requirements

• At least 21 years old, in line with MAS requirements for appointed financial adviser representatives
• A full Diploma or higher (degree holders welcome), in line with MAS minimum academic requirements
• Able to pass the MAS fit-and-proper assessment and the CMFAS licensing exams
• Curious about finance and people, and comfortable starting conversations
• Self-driven, coachable, and willing to put in consistent effort in the first 12 months
• Fresh graduates, career switchers, and NSmen who have just finished NS are welcome
