The service required are set out as follows:

• Academic & Technical Support: Provide technical support for nursing
and optometry teaching activities, including operation of medical
equipment, optometric equipment and computer-linked patient simulation
manikins.
• Equipment & IT Support: Install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot
medical equipment, laptops, tablets, software and other IT systems used
in HS facilities.
• Clinical Skills Support: Support BCLS/AED assessments, mask-fitting
exercises and practical training activities. For optometry, assist with
equipment operation, student learning and eye-examination appointment
management.
Asset & Inventory Management: Manage equipment loans, asset records,
inventory checks, equipment movement, disposal and return procedures.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination: Assist with purchasing, budgeting,
software licence renewal, new equipment setup and coordination with
suppliers/vendors.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine preventive maintenance,
maintain service records, arrange servicing and repairs, and monitor
warranty and maintenance contracts.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and
Health (WSH) requirements, support fire-drill activities and maintain
relevant safety and Eco Office records.
• Administrative Support: Manage room bookings, maintain accurate
documentation and prepare relevant reports.
• Continuous Technical Development: Keep updated on new healthcare
technologies, equipment, software and industry practices, and provide
technical guidance to staff and students.
Requirements

Relevant experience in healthcare, nursing, optometry or optical
environments is preferred.
• Nursing laboratory: Enrolled/Registered Nurse experience is an
advantage.
