Responsibilities

Installation & Servicing 

• Assist senior technicians on site with mounting indoor and outdoor units, running refrigerant lines, and securing supports so installations meet specification. 
• Carry out routine servicing tasks such as filter and coil cleaning, condensate drain checks, and basic component inspection to maintain system performance. 
• Prepare and update simple site checklists and material lists to keep jobs organised and on schedule. 
• Handle tools and basic equipment responsibly and keep work areas tidy after each visit.

Diagnostics & Repairs 

• Perform structured troubleshooting under supervision by testing electrical connections, measuring pressures, and observing operational symptoms. 
• Execute basic repairs and part replacements as instructed, following safe refrigerant handling and electrical safety procedures. 
• Document faults with clear notes and photos, and escalate complex issues to qualified technicians for resolution.

Learning, Safety & Site Practice 

• Take part in on-the-job coaching and repeat practice to build diagnostic and repair capability over the internship period. 
• Maintain accurate service reports and parts records for each job to support handover and billing. 
• Work Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, be available for site duties in Seri Kembangan, and follow all site safety rules and PPE requirements. 
• Request OT approval through the proper channels and submit claims for approved overtime.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience 

• Enrolled in or recently completed an air-conditioning, refrigeration, or electrical vocational program, or equivalent hands-on training. 
• Prior practical exposure from college labs, workshop units, or short placements is preferred but not mandatory. 
• Willing to commit to a minimum six-month internship and attend on-site assignments around Seri Kembangan as required. 
• Able to travel to local job sites and follow supervised work schedules reliably.

Compensation & Benefits 

• Structured on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced technicians to build practical skills. 
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with a minimum internship term of six months.
