Our client is a leading international hospitality company. They are looking for a detail-oriented and organised
Receiving Officer
to oversee the receiving of goods and deliveries for the hotel. You will ensure all incoming items are properly checked, recorded and distributed to the relevant departments in accordance with hotel procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect all incoming goods and deliveries.
Verify quantities, quality and condition of items against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Record and maintain accurate receiving and inventory documentation.
Coordinate the timely distribution of goods to the appropriate departments and storerooms.
Ensure proper stock control and follow established receiving and inventory procedures.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on delivery discrepancies or issues.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe receiving area.
Support stock checks, inventory records and other related administrative duties.
Requirements
Previous experience in receiving, storekeeping or inventory control preferred.
Good organisational and administrative skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
Good communication skills in English.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physically fit and comfortable handling goods and deliveries.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, reliable and positive attitude.
