Reports To :Programme Director

Job Purpose

The Programme Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and reporting programme-related data to support effective decision-making within the School Programme. The role provides accurate data insights, maintains reliable records and supports the Programme Director in monitoring programme performance, student outcomes and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Management

• Collect, consolidate and maintain accurate programme-related data from various sources.
• Manage databases, spreadsheets and reporting systems to ensure information is updated and accessible.
• Perform data validation, cleaning and verification to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain organised records of student, academic and programme information.
• Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive data.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse programme data to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards and data summaries for the Programme Director and School Management.
• Support data-driven decision-making through meaningful interpretation of information.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and programme targets.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to support management reviews.

3. Student & Academic Data Analysis

• Analyse student-related data, including:
• Enrolment trends
• Attendance records
• Academic performance
• Assessment results
• Student progress tracking
• Programme participation
• Assist academic teams in monitoring student development and identifying areas requiring support.
• Prepare data summaries for academic planning and review.

4. Dashboard & Data Visualisation

• Develop and maintain data dashboards using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI or equivalent platforms.
• Create charts, graphs and visual reports to communicate key findings effectively.
• Improve reporting efficiency through data automation where appropriate.
• Support management presentations with relevant data insights..
• Ensure data reports are accurate and submitted within required timelines.

5. Programme Monitoring & Improvement Support

• Support the evaluation of programme effectiveness through data analysis.
• Identify trends and provide insights to support programme enhancement.
• Assist in preparing reports for internal reviews, audits and management discussions.
• Support strategic planning through evidence-based information.

6. Administrative & Operational Support

• Assist the Programme Director and School Management with data-related administrative tasks.
• Prepare documentation, reports and presentations when required.
• Maintain accurate records of programme activities and outcomes.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Education Management or related field.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting or database management is preferred.
• Experience in an education or international school environment is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:

-Pivot Tables

- Formulas

- Data analysis functions

- Charts and reporting

• Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage confidential information responsibly.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
