Job Description

Responsibilities

Matt’s Education | Singapore
Full-Time | Junior / Entry-Level

Matt’s Education is looking for a Junior Content & Production Executive to join our Marketing & Creative team.

This is a highly hands-on role.

You will work closely with our Marketing Strategist and Lead Video Editor, supporting the team in everything from day-to-day filming and content creation to preparing equipment, setting up shoots, supporting events and making sure the logistical details behind each production are taken care of.

This is not a desk-based marketing role. You should expect to be regularly on the ground — filming, setting up equipment, preparing venues, moving gear, coordinating logistics and helping the team turn ideas into actual content.

What You’ll Be Doing

Filming & Content Production

  • Take on day-to-day filming responsibilities across our tuition centres, programmes and activities
  • Film teachers, students, classes, interviews, testimonials, events and social media content
  • Operate cameras, smartphones, microphones, lighting and other basic production equipment
  • Assist our Lead Video Editor during larger or more complex shoots
  • Edit short-form videos, reels and simple social media content
  • Capture photos and behind-the-scenes content when required
  • Organise, transfer and manage footage after shoots
  • Ensure equipment is charged, packed, maintained and ready for use

Events, Shoots & Logistics

  • Help prepare for company events, school programmes, workshops and marketing activities
  • Pack and transport cameras, tripods, lighting, microphones, banners, displays and other equipment
  • Assist with venue preparation and physical setup before events and shoots
  • Set up filming areas, backdrops, signage, registration areas and other event materials
  • Conduct equipment checks before leaving for shoots
  • Help coordinate simple logistics, schedules and production requirements
  • Be on-site before and during events to make sure things are properly set up and running
  • Assist with teardown, packing and equipment checks after events

Marketing & Creative Support

  • Support our Marketing Strategist in executing campaigns and content plans
  • Help turn content ideas into actual shoots and deliverables
  • Create simple graphics and marketing materials using Canva or similar tools
  • Monitor social media trends and suggest content ideas
  • Assist with posting and preparing content for Instagram, TikTok and other platforms
  • Support other marketing activities when required

The Person We’re Looking For

You do not need years of experience. Fresh graduates and candidates early in their careers are welcome.

What matters is that you are energetic, practical and willing to get your hands dirty.

You should:

  • Enjoy filming and creating content
  • Be comfortable being behind the camera regularly
  • Be willing to carry, set up and pack production equipment
  • Be prepared to travel between our centres, schools and event locations when required
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where plans sometimes change
  • Have basic video-editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar software
  • Be familiar with Canva and social media platforms
  • Have a good eye for visuals and storytelling
  • Be organised and responsible with equipment
  • Take initiative instead of waiting to be told every small step
  • Be willing to learn and take feedback

Experience with photography, videography, lighting, audio or event production will be an advantage.

This Role Is Probably Not For You If…

You are looking primarily for a desk-based marketing position.

A significant part of this job involves being physically present on the ground — filming, preparing equipment, setting up for events and shoots, handling logistics and supporting the team wherever needed.

We want someone who sees a shoot happening and asks:

“What needs to be done?”
