Responsibilities
Design Project Manager (DPM)
Role Overview
The DPM serves as the
technical lead during the early design stage of projects
, acting as the key coordination point for cross-disciplinary design management and project information control.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the
early design stages (SD/DD)
of large-scale public building projects in Singapore, covering architecture, structural, façade, and other disciplines.
Act as the company's key technical representative and lead frequent technical meetings with
international clients, leading international architects, and consultant teams
.
Establish and manage the project's
information flow and document control systems
, filtering and organising large volumes of project information to ensure alignment across all disciplines.
Manage the early-stage design schedule and proactively identify design risks.
Ensure the company's design proposals and detailed design development comply with
contractual requirements and local Singapore regulations/codes
.
Requirements
Relevant experience in a similar role with a
large design consultancy, international engineering consultancy, or multinational general contractor
.
Strong cross-disciplinary coordination and project management capabilities, with a good understanding of
overseas project development and design processes
.
Excellent
business and technical English communication skills
, with the confidence to deliver presentations and manage complex stakeholder discussions entirely in English, even under pressure.
