Full Time Plant Engineer (Shah Alam, Selangor) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 13,000 in Lavender Confectionery & Bakery Selangor - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure Plant Reliability – Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all production machinery and manufacturing equipment to achieve maximum uptime.
• Manage Preventive Maintenance – Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Lead Engineering Improvements – Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency, productivity, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Manage Plant Utilities – Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of utilities including boilers, air compressors, chillers, HVAC, electrical systems, water supply, and refrigeration.
• Troubleshoot Technical Issues – Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Oversee Engineering Projects – Plan, coordinate, and supervise equipment installations, upgrades, plant expansion, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
• Ensure Compliance – Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, occupational safety regulations, and all relevant statutory requirements.
• Lead the Engineering Team – Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and engineering personnel to achieve operational excellence.
• Manage Engineering Budgets – Control maintenance expenditure, optimise spare parts inventory, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising operational reliability.
• Support Operational Excellence – Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing performance, product quality, and overall plant efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, bakery, confectionery, dairy, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience managing engineering operations within a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and engineering documentation.
