We are seeking a motivated intern to join our investment team and gain practical exposure to the research and decision-making processes behind the investment industry. Working closely with experienced members of the investment team, you’ll learn how information is gathered, analysed and ultimately turned into meaningful investment insights.

Your Role

Your work may involve exploring different areas of the investment landscape, including:

• Investigating listed companies, investment funds, industries and global markets to understand their performance and potential.
• Tracking market movements and identifying trends or themes that could create opportunities or risks for investors.
• Researching interest rates, inflation, monetary policy, economic data, geopolitical events and other factors affecting financial markets.
• Comparing different funds, companies and investment approaches to understand their strengths, weaknesses and underlying risks.
• Collecting financial data and market information, then using it to support research and analysis.
• Contributing to investment reports, market updates, research notes and presentation materials.
• Helping the team formulate and refine investment views by examining relevant evidence and market developments.
• Turning large amounts of financial and economic information into clear and easy-to-understand conclusions.
• Supporting research projects and assisting with additional analysis as new questions or opportunities arise.
• Developing an understanding of portfolio construction and how investment strategies may perform under different market conditions.
• Joining investment discussions, fund manager presentations, seminars, briefings and selected industry events where applicable.
• Seeing how research findings and market perspectives can influence investment decisions and conversations with clients.
