Work from Home Freelance Consecutive - Simultaneous Interpreter Jobs, in Elite Asia Group - Maukerja

Elite Asia is looking for experienced Freelance Consecutive Interpreters (CI) and Simultaneous Interpreters (SI) in Malaysia to support our Legal, Arbitration, Medical, and Healthcare-related projects.

The selected interpreters may be engaged for legal proceedings, arbitration hearings, witness examinations, medical consultations, healthcare-related assignments, professional meetings, and other specialized projects.

Requirements

Consecutive Interpreter (CI)

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional consecutive interpretation experience
• Proven experience in Legal, Arbitration, Medical, and/or Healthcare settings
• Excellent command of English and Tamil
• Strong understanding of relevant terminology, particularly legal or medical terminology
• Able to interpret accurately, professionally, and impartially in formal and sensitive environments
• Must be based in Singapore or able to undertake assignments in Singapore

Simultaneous Interpreter (SI)

• Minimum 3–4 years of professional simultaneous interpretation experience
• Proven experience in Legal, Arbitration, Medical, and/or Healthcare settings
• Excellent command of English and Tamil
• Experience handling formal legal proceedings, arbitration hearings, medical conferences, or healthcare-related events is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of relevant legal and/or medical terminology
• Must be based in Singapore or able to undertake assignments in Singapore

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation
• Interpret specialized legal, arbitration, medical, and healthcare terminology accurately
• Facilitate communication between professionals, clients, patients, witnesses, and other parties as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all case-related and medical information
• Review relevant materials and terminology in preparation for assignments
