Job description:
Job Summary:
Responsible for timely delivery and collection of goods, as well as supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and packing. The role requires a valid GDL (Goods Driving License) and adherence to safety and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, check, and verify incoming goods against delivery orders, purchase orders, and relevant documents.
- Inspect goods for quantity, condition, and any visible damages upon receipt.
- Arrange and store goods in the appropriate warehouse locations systematically.
- Perform picking, packing, labelling, and preparation of goods for delivery or collection.
- Load and unload goods safely using appropriate equipment and handling procedures.
- Ensure all stock movements are properly recorded and updated in the warehouse/inventory system.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with periodic stock take and inventory reconciliation.
- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items, or inventory variances to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain proper documentation for receiving, issuing, transferring, and dispatching of goods.
- Ensure goods are stored according to company requirements and appropriate handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and proper organisation of the warehouse at all times.
- Follow all company policies, warehouse procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Assist with delivery arrangements and coordinate with drivers, couriers, or other relevant parties when required.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys, or forklifts where authorised and trained.
- Assist other warehouse team members with daily operational activities as required.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent
- Proven experience as a warehouse assistant is an advantage
- Good knowledge of local routes and road safety
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work (lifting, loading)
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
