Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Training & Competency Development

• Develop and implement structured onboarding programmes for all care team members.

• Standardize clinical practices, postpartum care protocols and infant care procedures across the centre.

• Conduct practical demonstrations, bedside coaching and competency assessments.

Maternal & Infant Care Excellence

• Train staff on postpartum maternal recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding support, neonatal safety and developmental care.

• Ensure consistent implementation of SAINT BELLA's evidence-based postpartum care standards.

• Reinforce infection prevention, medication safety, emergency response and clinical risk management.

• Promote family-centred care and effective parent education.

Learning & Professional Development

• Develop annual clinical education plans and continuing education programmes.

• Organise simulation training, case discussions and competency refreshers.

• Support career development pathways and succession planning for care staff.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Singapore healthcare regulations, licensing requirements and workplace safety standards.

• Maintain accurate competency records, certifications and mandatory training documentation.

• Prepare documentation for internal and external quality audits.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Nursing Leadership, Operations, Medical Advisors and HR to identify workforce development needs.

• Support the opening of new centres through pre-opening clinical training.

• Collaborate with SAINT BELLA's global training team to localise international best practices while maintaining consistent care standards.

Requirements

• Experience in maternity, neonatal, paediatric, postpartum or women's health is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and competency-based education.

• Excellent facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills.

• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.
