About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented QA/QC cum Halal Assistant to join our team at Chicago Chicken City SDN BHD in Kuantan, Pahang. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products, as well as maintaining our Halal certification. This position is integral to upholding our company's commitment to excellence in food technology and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting thorough quality assurance and quality control checks throughout the production process
• Implementing and monitoring adherence to Halal guidelines and procedures
• Analysing test results and production data to identify and resolve any quality or compliance issues
• Documenting and reporting on quality and Halal-related activities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve our quality and Halal management systems
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality and Halal best practices

About you

• Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the food industry
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, Halal certification requirements, and quality management systems
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Proficient in data analysis and report writing
