Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Assistant to join our team. As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic while providing exceptional customer service and support to patients. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for healthcare, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Reception: Greet patients warmly, verify personal and insurance information, and assist with the check-in process. Ensure all necessary forms are completed and filed.
• Appointment Scheduling: Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments as necessary. Handle patient inquiries and provide information about clinic services and hours.
• Support Clinical Staff: Assist doctor with patient preparation, including taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with minor procedures.
• Billing and Payments: Assist patients with billing inquiries, process co-pays and payments, and help ensure proper documentation for insurance claims.
• Sterilization and Equipment Prep: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in exam rooms, waiting areas, and medical equipment. Ensure medical supplies are stocked and available for use.
• Patient Education: Provide basic instructions to patients regarding procedures, follow-up care, or medications, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Phone Support: Answer phone calls, assist patients with appointment bookings, medical questions, or general inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, though not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care and confidentiality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
