Full Time VP - Senior Director, Data Center Design Jobs, in Space Executive - Maukerja

We are partnering with a fast-growing data centre developer to hire a senior design delivery leader based in Singapore. Reporting directly to the CTO, this role carries full technical authority over a global hyperscale AI data centre portfolio, spanning site selection, design development, construction delivery, commissioning, and Ready for Service handover across multiple concurrent projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end design and delivery of hyperscale AI data centre projects globally, from feasibility and site selection through to RFS handover
• Develop technical strategies, infrastructure architectures, and implementation roadmaps in alignment with business objectives and site conditions
• Direct all design disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, Structural, Architectural, Fire Protection, BMS, and Intelligent Building Systems
• Establish and enforce design governance frameworks, technical standards, and compliance requirements in accordance with TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier standards, and local regulations
• Drive design optimisation across reliability, energy efficiency, PUE improvement, and long-term operational performance
• Lead value engineering and cost control strategies to optimise CAPEX and OPEX
• Manage regulatory approvals, planning submissions, and authority liaison across multiple jurisdictions
• Build and scale high-performing design delivery teams and establish standardised delivery frameworks for global deployment

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/HVAC Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years in large-scale data centre design and delivery management
• Proven full lifecycle hyperscale DC experience from site selection through commissioning and handover
• Deep technical expertise across critical DC systems - electrical distribution, HVAC, fire protection, BMS, and low-voltage systems
• Strong knowledge of global DC design standards and Tier certification requirements
• International DC project delivery experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Comfortable with frequent international travel across project regions
