WE ARE HIRING | LEGAL COUNSEL – SINGAPORE

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join a dynamic corporate team in Singapore and provide legal support across global logistics and supply chain operations.

Location: Singapore

Position: Legal Counsel

Function: Corporate / Legal

Reports to: Head of Legal

Experience: 2–4 years post-qualification experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide legal advice to business units and senior management on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including customer agreements, 3PL, logistics, warehousing, procurement, employment and lease agreements.

• Support the management of legal risks, disputes and litigation, including coordination with external counsel.

• Liaise with external lawyers and manage legal engagements, instructions, documentation and timelines.

• Provide legal support for mergers and acquisitions, corporate integrations, restructuring and inter-company agreements.

• Assist with basic legal due diligence and document reviews for strategic projects.

• Monitor compliance with local and international laws and regulations covering customs, trade, transport and data privacy.

• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide practical updates and guidance to internal stakeholders.

• Support corporate housekeeping, audit queries and other legal matters involving the wider group.

• Prepare materials and provide legal input for management and board-related meetings.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Law

2–4 years of post-qualification experience in private practice and/or an in-house legal environment

Strong experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters

Experience in logistics, supply chain or a related industry will be an advantage

Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills

Practical and business-oriented approach to legal matters

Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance

Comfortable working with stakeholders across different cultures and functions
