Full Time Compliance Intern Jobs, in 2C2P Federal Territory - Maukerja

We are looking for a 6-months internship from the period of mid Oct 2026

Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Monthly allowance is provided

Key Responsibility

• Review and verify documentation for corporate and individual clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements and ensure proper classification of customer rating
• Review and clear sanctions screenings, for potential PEP screenings, and adverse media screenings
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to address and update incomplete or inconsistent onboarding information in the company due diligence portal.
• Escalate high risk cases to the Compliance team Manager for further review and decision making
• Escalate potential hits for further investigation.
• Ensure screening procedures are aligned with AML/CFT requirements under company policy.
• Assist in maintaining and updating compliance-related policies, procedures, and records.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities to be assigned by your superiors.

• Final year student in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Corporate Governance, or a related field from University/Polytechnic.
• Basic understanding of AML/CFT guidelines, Know Your Customer (KYC) / Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures, and regulatory frameworks in Malaysia.
• Detail-oriented with analytical, research, and data verification skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, a strong sense of confidentiality, and the ability to work responsibly under supervision.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship.
