POSITION : PART-TIME LECTURER (ENGLISH)

Main duties and responsibilities:

• To teach at Certificate and Diploma level in areas allocated by the Head of Department and reviewed from time to time by the Head of Department.
• To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum.
• To assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work, assessment of student work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
• To participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.
• To provide pastoral care and support to student.
• To participate in the administration of the department’s programs of study and other activities as requested.
• To contribute to department, faculty, or College-wide working groups or committees as requested.
• To maintain own continuing professional development.
• To carry out any other duties commensurate with the grade and purpose of the post.

Job Requirement:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Working experiences in related industry/teaching or academic administration and management in education business setting environment is an advantage.
• Good organizational, leadership and teaching skills.
• Good communication skill in English language is an advantage.
• Independent and computer literate.
• Knowledge of subject related/experience in related industry/teaching is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively.

Pay: RM50.00 - RM80.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• PERMIT MENGAJAR (Required)
