Full Time AVP, Credit Analyst Jobs, Salary up to SGD 7,000 in EMPOWER PARTNERS SEARCH PTE. LTD. Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

Our client, a leading international bank, is looking to appoint an Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst to support its corporate banking business.

The role will focus on fundamental credit analysis, financial assessment and credit proposal preparation across a portfolio of corporate clients. The successful candidate will work closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk teams to assess new transactions and monitor existing exposures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed credit analysis on corporate borrowers across various industries.
• Analyse financial statements, cash flows, leverage, liquidity and debt-servicing capacity.
• Assess borrowers' business models, industry dynamics and key credit risks.
• Prepare and review credit applications, annual reviews and credit monitoring reports.
• Evaluate proposed lending structures, covenants, collateral and credit mitigants.
• Support Relationship Managers in evaluating new business opportunities and credit requests.
• Monitor existing portfolios and identify emerging credit concerns.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, Legal and other internal stakeholders.
• Ensure credit assessments are consistent with the bank's internal credit policies and risk appetite.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in corporate credit analysis, credit underwriting or banking credit.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and corporate credit fundamentals.
• Experience analysing large corporates, preferably across multiple industries.
• Good understanding of lending structures, credit facilities and risk mitigants.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Relationship Managers and senior credit stakeholders.
