Full Time General Manager – Hospitality - Leisure Jobs, Salary up to MYR 18,000 in Mentari Muara Kedah - Maukerja

Job Purpose

To provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the hotels and water/theme park operations in Langkawi, ensuring strong financial performance, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, safety and sustainable business growth across all properties. The General Manager will be responsible for integrating hotel and leisure operations, maximising occupancy and revenue, improving guest experience, developing commercial opportunities and ensuring that all properties operate in accordance with company policies, statutory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall daily operations of the 2 hotels, water theme park & Company property .
• Lead and supervise all Heads of Department and management teams.
• Ensure smooth hotel and theme park operations.
• Monitor hotel occupancy, room revenue and theme park visitor numbers.
• Develop strategies to increase sales, revenue and profitability.
• Prepare and manage annual budget and operating expenses.
• Monitor monthly financial and business performance.
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure proper service recovery.
• Develop hotel packages and promotions together with the Sales & Marketing team.
• Explore business opportunities with travel agents, corporate clients, tour operators and other partners.
• Improve coordination between the hotels and Splash Out.
• Ensure proper maintenance of hotel facilities, theme park facilities and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, licensing and statutory requirements.
• Recruit, develop and motivate employees.
• Monitor staff performance and manpower requirements.
• Prepare regular operational and management reports for Group Management.
• Represent the company in meetings with government agencies, business partners and other stakeholders.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Group Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in hotel/resort management.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in senior management / General Manager position.
• Experience managing hotel operations and P&L.
• Experience in resort, leisure, water park or theme park operations will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good financial and business management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple operations.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
