Redwood is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Interior Designer to lead the development of our showroom, material displays, and growing corporate office solutions.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead design development across our showroom, material displays, and corporate office solutions. The role will take ownership of projects from concept and space planning through detailed design, material selection, and implementation, while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to deliver creative, practical, and buildable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of design concepts, space planning, and design proposals for the company's showroom, material displays, and corporate office solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from concept development through detailed design, material selection, and implementation.
• Develop and customise corporate office products and solutions, including partitions, acoustic solutions, workstations, meeting spaces, cabinetry, and office furniture.
• Prepare and review mood boards, material palettes, 2D drawings, 3D visualisations, renderings, and technical drawings.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and workplace solutions, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and buildability.
• Research and introduce new materials, products, and design solutions to strengthen the company's design offering.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to develop solutions and resolve design and technical matters.
• Review design deliverables and provide guidance to junior designers to maintain design quality and consistency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate office, workplace, commercial, or interior fit-out design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, space planning, material selection, and technical detailing.
• Strong understanding of interior construction, materials, finishes, furniture systems, and buildability.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant 3D visualisation/rendering software; Revit would be an advantage.
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and design priorities.
