CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER, CHANCELLERY

KEY ROLES :

• Plan and implement overall marketing and student recruitment strategies in line with UniKL’s goals.

• Increase local student intake by managing school visits, education fairs, roadshows, and partnerships with schools, colleges, TVET institutions.

• Grow international student numbers by focusing on key countries, managing education agents and partners, and ensuring compliance with EMGS and visa requirements.

• Promote postgraduate programmes in collaboration with the Institute of Postgraduate Studies, and industry partners.

• Lead digital marketing, including online campaigns, social media, email, webinars, and use of CRM and analytics to track enquiries, applications, and enrolments.

• Work closely with Deans, Campus Directors, Admissions, Registry, International Office, Alumni, and external partners (industry, government, scholarship bodies).

• Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing and recruitment teams, and manage the marketing budget effectively.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum 20 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, brand management, or student recruitment, preferably in higher education or closely related sectors.

• Experience in handling student recruitment, managing digital marketing platforms and marketing analytics tools.

• Experience in postgraduate recruitment and/or marketing of research and professional programmes.

• Track record in leading diverse teams across multiple campuses or business units.

• Willingness to travel, working extra hours – including evenings and weekends, in line with recruitment cycles and events.

• High integrity, professionalism, and alignment with UniKL’s mission, vision, and values.
