Requirements

  • Candidate must be currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
  • Basic understanding of circuits, semiconductor devices, instrumentation or control systems will be an advantage.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of programming, automation, PLC, electronics testing or data analysis will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Electrical & Electronic Engineering Intern to join our engineering team and gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

The intern will support engineering and production activities involving equipment, electrical and electronic systems, process monitoring, troubleshooting, data analysis and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in supporting daily semiconductor manufacturing and engineering activities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting of electrical, electronic and equipment-related issues under engineers' supervision.
  • Support equipment monitoring, maintenance and performance improvement activities.
  • Collect, analyse and maintain equipment and process data.
  • Assist in monitoring equipment performance, downtime and process trends.
  • Support engineers in identifying opportunities for process and equipment improvement.
  • Assist with testing, validation and implementation of engineering solutions.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist in preparing engineering reports, presentations and technical documentation.
  • Support preventive maintenance and equipment-related activities where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality and operational procedures.
  • Work closely with Production, Process, Equipment, Quality and other cross-functional teams.
  • Perform other engineering-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
