Job Description

Responsibilities

Programme Coordinator (Community & Talent)

Do you enjoy connecting people, building communities and helping early-stage founders find the talent and support they need to grow?

Join National GRIP, Singapore’s national deep-tech venture creation initiative, supporting founders as they turn breakthrough research into commercially viable companies.

We’re seeking a Programme Coordinator (Community & Talent) to support our Phase 3 incubation teams through engaging programming, strong ecosystem relationships and targeted talent sourcing.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with startup teams to understand their needs, connect them with mentors and potential team members, and create opportunities for founders to learn from one another. This is a hands-on role combining community building, relationship management and programme delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver community programming: Plan and coordinate workshops, masterclasses, office hours, networking sessions and showcase events, managing logistics and follow-up.
  • Build ecosystem relationships: Engage mentors, investors, industry partners and alumni through outreach, onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
  • Support mentor matching: Connect teams with relevant mentors and advisors, coordinate meetings and gather feedback.
  • Source talent for ventures: Help teams define their talent needs, prepare role descriptions and source candidates through LinkedIn, university, industry and alumni networks.
  • Facilitate introductions and placements: Maintain candidate pipelines and support matching for co-founder, internship, fellowship and entrepreneur-in-residence opportunities.
  • Keep the community connected: Manage cohort updates, newsletters, calendars and announcements, and serve as a consistent point of contact for participants and alumni.
  • Track outcomes and improve delivery: Maintain records of community engagement, talent needs and placements, using feedback to strengthen future programming.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience in programme coordination, community building, talent sourcing, startup operations or a related role.
  • An interest in early-stage startups, deep tech and research commercialisation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging founders, mentors and ecosystem partners.
  • Clear writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple activities and relationships.
  • Initiative and sound judgment, with a willingness to take ownership and work through ambiguity.

Experience in an accelerator, incubator, university entrepreneurship programme or recruitment setting would be valuable.

Why Join Us?

You’ll work directly with ambitious deep-tech founders and help build the relationships, community and talent pipelines that enable their ventures to grow.

If you’re excited to connect people and help turn breakthrough research into thriving companies, we’d love to hear from you.
