Job Title: Sales Manager – Semiconductor Precision Parts

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly technical and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and expand our market presence in the semiconductor sector. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by capturing high-precision component contracts with leading SemiCaps, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and front-end/back-end semiconductor fabrication plants (Fabs) as well as Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test companies (OSATs). The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of precision machining (CNC, EDM, Laser), advanced materials (polymers, engineering plastics, quartz, ceramics, silicon, alloys), and the complex, long-cycle qualification processes inherent to the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development: Identify and secure design-win opportunities for custom and build-to-print precision parts used in semiconductor processing equipment (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition, bonding, encapsulation, etc).
- Team Leadership & Technical Coaching: Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of Technical Sales Representatives and Account Managers; foster strong alignment between sales goals and engineering capabilities.
- Account Strategy & Relationship Management: Manage and expand high-value relationships with tier-1 semiconductor equipment OEMs and global wafer fabs, navigating multi-layered decision-making matrices (procurement, engineering, quality assurance).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal Engineering, Estimating, and Quality Assurance teams to manage Request for Quotes (RFQs), interpret technical blueprints, and ensure production feasibility matches customer specifications.
- Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Track sales metrics, manage NPI (New Product Introduction) pipelines, and provide accurate revenue forecasting based on industry cyclic trends, silicon demand, and fab capacity expansions.
- Contract & Margin Management: Lead complex commercial negotiations, manage multi-year supply agreements, and monitor product margins to balance volume growth with corporate profitability metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years of sales experience within the semiconductor, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing sectors, with at least 2 years of proven experience managing sales teams or high-value key accounts.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with the cleanroom environment regulations and strict quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Knowledge of the semiconductor capital equipment lifecycle and copy-exactly (CE!) methodologies.
- Skills: Exceptional technical presentation and negotiation skills; proficiency in CRM systems and ERP software; ability to navigate lengthy, engineering-led sales cycles (6–18 months).
Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
