Role Description The Process Engineer (CNC Machining) is a full-time, on-site role based in Kedah, Malaysia. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and documenting CNC machining processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency in production. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing machining requirements, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, developing process parameters, and establishing process controls for multi-axis CNC machines and related equipment. The Process Engineer collaborates closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues, reduce scrap and downtime, and improve throughput. The role also involves continuous monitoring of process performance, implementing improvement initiatives, supporting new product introduction, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Process Engineering and Process Design, particularly in CNC machining environments.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Process Control and Analytical Skills to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve machining processes.
  • Candidates should possess a foundation in Chemical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, with the ability to apply engineering principles to manufacturing processes.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering fields are beneficial.
  • Experience with CNC programming, tooling selection, and fixture design is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality management systems is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work collaboratively in a production environment are essential.
