Responsibilities
Job Scope:
- conduct computer training for studentson multimedia applications;
- work with theHOD ICT to develop new and review existing training resources/programme to ensure ICTimplementation and integration are aligned to school’s needs and interests sothat students attain proficiency in school-identified digital competencies andtechnological skills;
- develop training resources that arerequired for training sessions of the students and staff;
- train students (Pri 1-6) on digitalliteracy skills and safe use of online tools;
- assist in ICT-related training forstaff, InfoComm Club as well as ICT Student Leaders;
- assist in handling of inventory ofvarious AV/IT equipment in various school locations (classrooms, hall, paradesquare, special rooms etc.) to support various school events/needs;
- provide support for school functions,such as set up and manage Public Address (PA) equipment for National Day,Awards Day etc; and Microsoft Teams/Zoom meetings/ webinars;
- support school events in terms ofphotography & videography, including photo and video editing;
- archive, manage and organise theschool's media collection (photos, videos and documents etc);
- support school website design &maintenance;
- provide technical support in ComputerLabs, and/or small-group teaching that meets students’ learning needs; and
- assist in providing assessment ofstudents, monitor the effectiveness of ICT related teaching programmes providedand work together with the HOD/SH ICT to recommend refinements to the programmeto enhance students’ learning.
- assist Desktop Engineers tomove the mobile carts to the classrooms to support teaching and learning ifneeded.
- 2 years of experience in teaching theuse of computers and its relevant applications in a school environment.
- Preferably with experience teachingprimary school students.
- Good command of English (written andoral).
- Polytechnic Diploma holder or itsequivalent in a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft MS Office i.e.Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in use of Google Apps i.e.Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets and Google Sites.
- Preferably withexperience in use of iOS devices (e.g. iPad, iMac, MacBook) and iOS apps i.e. Keynote,Pages and Numbers.
- Has knowledgeon multimedia applications like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and ability to conduct computertraining for students and staff.
- Intermediate level of knowledge in STEMor coding e.g. Scratch, Arduino, Micro: bit, Apple SWIFT playground, etc.
- Preferable tohave experience in animation, developing mobile learning, basic programming,photography, video filming and editing.
- Personnel should be highly motivated andable to perform good project management.
