Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Recruiter role focused on blue-collar hirings, based in Perth, WA.

The Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment processes for trades, labor, and site-based roles, including drafting job ads, sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating reference checks.

Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining talent pipelines, liaising with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, and ensuring timely placement of candidates to meet project timelines.

The role also involves managing recruitment administration, updating applicant tracking systems, and promoting fair, inclusive hiring practices.

The Recruiter will collaborate closely with operations and HR teams to support workforce planning and retention initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment for blue-collar, trades, or construction roles, preferably within engineering or construction environments.
  • Strong candidate sourcing abilities using job boards, social media, referrals, and local networks.
  • Proficiency in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates for role suitability and safety awareness.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers, site supervisors, and external vendors.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple vacancies and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and basic HR or recruitment administration processes.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment and workplace regulations in Western Australia is an advantage.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional, respectful approach to all candidates.
  • Previous experience in on-site or field-based recruitment is highly regarded.
  • Certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory; equivalent experience is valued.
