Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Procurement Management Trainee to join our team and build a strong foundation in procurement and supply chain management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or early-career professional who wants to gain hands-on exposure to supplier management, purchasing, cost control, inventory, and procurement operations.

You will work closely with experienced team members and gain exposure to the full procurement process while developing the skills needed to grow into a future procurement professional.

What You’ll Learn & Do

  • Support daily procurement and purchasing activities.
  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
  • Prepare purchase orders, quotations, and other procurement-related documents.
  • Communicate with suppliers to follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries, and product availability.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Support price comparison and cost analysis to identify potential savings.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and update purchasing systems.
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring supplier performance and resolving delivery or quality issues.
  • Support procurement reporting and data analysis.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to make procurement activities more efficient.
  • Take on other assignments and projects as part of the management trainee development program.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with 1–2 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related experience are also welcome.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is preferred.
