Position: Technician - Semiconductor Industry

Location: Ampang Selangor

About the role

Our client is a global semiconductor company with advanced manufacturing operations in Malaysia. Join as a Technician and gain hands-on experience in equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and process improvement while working with advanced semiconductor technology.

Job responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for materials, setup changes, and area 5S and cleanliness
• Attend changeovers, conversions, optimizations, part changes, and machine downtime events
• Manage engineering evaluation run
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain tools
• Perform part inspection and measurement with scopes, micrometers, calipers
• Maintain and apply 5S practices
• Provide constructive updates and feedback on anomalies to the team and supervisor timely
• Involve in any Engineering project, program or event, internal audit and support machine shop related program
• Provide cross area/process support when required
• Work during off days and overtime when required

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics or any relevant fields
• Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance
• Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems
• Excellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
