ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
A leading Main Contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to support the delivery of major building construction projects in Singapore.
The position will be responsible for the coordination and execution of Mechanical & Electrical works, working closely with consultants, subcontractors and project teams to ensure M&E installations are delivered according to programme, quality and project requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and manage M&E works for building construction projects from installation through testing and handover.
Supervise M&E subcontractors and monitor site progress, workmanship and construction schedules.
Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, method statements and material submissions.
Coordinate M&E services with structural and architectural works to resolve clashes and site interface issues.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and project teams on technical, coordination and construction matters.
Monitor M&E procurement, material delivery and key installation milestones.
Coordinate inspections, testing & commissioning and handover of M&E systems.
Ensure M&E works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality and safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
Relevant M&E experience within building construction projects.
Main Contractor experience will be highly advantageous.
Good knowledge of M&E installation, coordination, testing and commissioning.
Experience coordinating M&E services with structural and architectural works.
Strong site coordination, communication and problem-solving capabilities.
