Location: KL, Kuala Lumpur

Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst to act as a hands-on bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and project teams. The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating requirements into clear and actionable documentation, supporting solution definition and ensuring that requirements are correctly translated into execution. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand business processes, objectives and requirements.

• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, interviews and discussions.

• Analyse and document As-Is and To-Be business processes.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and specifications.

• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), user stories, use cases and process flows as required.

• Identify gaps, dependencies, assumptions, risks and business impacts.

• Work closely with development and technical teams to clarify requirements during implementation.

• Ensure delivered functionality aligns with approved requirements.

• Review proposed solutions from a business and functional perspective.

• Support development teams during implementation by providing requirement clarification.

• Prepare and maintain acceptance criteria and support UAT planning and execution.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to validate UAT results and manage requirementrelated defects.

• Track requirement changes and maintain appropriate documentation and traceability.

• Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.

• Support project managers in identifying delivery risks, dependencies and requirement-related issues.

• Ensure documentation remains current throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking, financial services or investment banking.

• Strong requirement-gathering and documentation skills.

• Experience with BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases and process mapping.

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar project-management/documentation tools is an advantage.
