- Conduct daily inspections across all construction trades and witness technical testing to ensure work matches project specifications and safety codes.
- Locate non-conforming work, log defects into tracking systems, and issue formal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Lead resolution meetings with subcontractors, set firm deadlines for rectifications, and enforce quality standards.
- Re-examine repaired work to verify defects are correctly fixed before closing out reports and approving trade handovers.
- Maintain organized inspection logs, material test certificates, and handover sign-offs for client audits and project closeout.
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Practical experience in construction QA/QC inspection and defect supervision (preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian building standards and frameworks (e.g., JKR, CIDB, QLASSIC).
- Active CIDB Green Card holder; QA/QC or ISO quality certifications are an added advantage.
