AWS SysOps Intern Jobs, Salary up to MYR 1,300 in Tigerlab Selangor - Maukerja

What you'll do

• Help operate and monitor EC2-based workloads (Graviton/ARM64) running Docker, with deployments via CI/CD
• Write and update infrastructure-as-code using OpenTofu, and configuration management playbooks with Ansible
• Assist with patching, AMI management, and routine maintenance across environments
• Review findings from AWS security tooling (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector) and help track remediation
• Support cost and right-sizing analysis using CloudWatch metrics, Compute Optimizer, and billing analytics
• Troubleshoot issues such as disk usage, service health, and DNS/SSL configuration (Route 53, ACM)
• Write clear runbooks and documentation for the things you build and fix
• Contribute to internal tooling that the team uses to manage the platform

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Comfortable on the Linux command line (navigating, reading logs, managing services)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts: IP addressing, DNS, HTTP/S, ports and firewalls
• Some exposure to AWS or another cloud provider, through coursework, personal projects, or labs
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Bash or Python preferred)
• Curious, careful, and willing to ask questions, especially before touching production
• Good written communication in English

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or progress towards Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator Associate
• Experience with Docker and Git
• Any exposure to Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines
• A homelab, GitHub projects, or anything else that shows you like tinkering with systems
