Internship - Kitchen Commis Jobs, Salary up to MYR 600 in Muslim Bakers Group Selangor - Maukerja

Location: Opah Bakery & Dessert

Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation & Cooking

• Assist in preparing and cooking hot menu items (e.g. spaghetti, nasi lemak, mee rebus and other listed menu’s) according to standard recipes / visiting chef’s instruction
• Ensure food is prepared consistently in terms of taste, portion, and presentation
• Support daily kitchen prep activities

2. Kitchen Operations Support

• Ensure timely preparation of orders during service hours
• Help in basic plating and garnishing of dishes

3. Hygiene & Food Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, equipment, and utensils
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines
• Ensure proper food handling and storage practices

4. Inventory & Stock Handling

• Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients (FIFO method)
• Report low stock levels to the supervisor

5. General Duties

• Support cleaning duties including dishwashing when required
• Work closely and backup the front-of-house (cashier, waiter, barista) team to ensure smooth operations
• Support bakery & pastry section when needed
• Supporting the marketing team with content execution
• Follow company SOPs and kitchen standards

Pay: RM500.00 - RM600.00 per month
