Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, and cable schedules.
Coordinate electrical design, installation, and interface requirements with PE/LEW, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating vendor submissions.
Supervise and monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
Plan, coordinate electrical testing and commissioning activities for power distribution systems, control panels, and field equipment.
Prepare technical documentation including method statements, testing procedures, risk assessments, and commissioning reports.
Ensure all electrical works are completed in accordance with project schedules, quality requirements, and industry standards.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Proficient in cable sizing calculations, load calculations, and voltage drop analysis.
Experienced in preparing BOQ for electrical materials, cables, and accessories.
Able to read, interpret, and develop electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Familiar with electrical testing and commissioning activities, including cable testing, insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, panel testing, and system energization.
Knowledge of electrical standards such as IEC, SS or equivalent.
Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of low-voltage power distribution systems, control panels, PLC interfaces, and instrumentation.
Experience 8 years working in MRT, Tunnel construction projects.
