Physiotherapist

Job Description

- Perform and manage duties related to the assigned duty in accordance with the residence’s procedures and applicable requirements.
- Conduct basic physical and functional assessments of senior citizens.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation programmes based on each resident’s condition and needs.
- Identify changes in residents’ physical condition and escalate concerns to the Operations Manager and/or appropriate healthcare professional when necessary.
- Provide guidance to care staff on safe transferring, positioning and mobility assistance.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow the company’s emergency procedures.
- Collect resident's feedback regarding physiotherapy and rehabilitation programmes and improve resident's experiences.

Working experience

Min 2-3 years

Education / Working Industry

- Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- Registered with the relevant professional body / holds the necessary practising requirements in Malaysia.
- Experience working with senior citizens, elderly care, rehabilitation or nursing/aged-care facilities will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of elderly mobility, rehabilitation and fall prevention.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
