Responsibilities
Drafting & Design Support
Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical drawings using AutoCAD or relevant drafting software
Interpret design concepts, sketches, and specifications into working drawings
Coordinate with designers, consultants, and project teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements
Revise drawings based on site conditions and client/consultant feedback
Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements
Quantity Surveying (QS) Support
Assist in taking off quantities from drawings for interior fit-out works (e.g. carpentry, partitions, finishes)
Support preparation of cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents
Assist in sourcing and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations
Help track project costs and variations
Support in preparing progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts
Project Coordination
Liaise with site teams to ensure drawings align with actual site conditions
Assist in material submission and documentation
Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and project documents
Ensure timely submission of drawings and QS-related documentation
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field
Proficient in AutoCAD (knowledge of SketchUp / Revit is an advantage)
Basic understanding of Quantity Surveying principles and costing
Experience in interior fit-out projects preferred
Strong attention to detail and good coordination skills
