Looking to grow your career with a stable, established leader in automotive manufacturing? We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Tool & Die Maintenance Technician to join our Technical team.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Keep Production Running: Perform rapid troubleshooting, die repairs, and welding during production breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Preventive Care: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on progressive and transfer dies, keeping clear maintenance logs.
  • Tooling Refinement: Inspect, polish, precision-weld, and replace worn die components to guarantee high part quality.
  • Operations Support: Assist with die setup, alignment, die trials, and engineering modifications for new or updated automotive parts.
  • Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, organized 5S workshop environment and adhere strictly to plant safety compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Technical Engineers to report die conditions and contribute continuous improvement ideas.

What You Bring to the Team (Requirements):

  • Education: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Tool & Die Technology.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of practical experience in automotive stamping die maintenance, die repair, or toolmaking.
  • Core Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on knowledge of progressive and transfer dies.
  • Proficient in press operation support, die setting, basic machining, grinding, and TIG/ARC welding.
  • Ability to read 2D technical die drawings.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (micrometer, vernier caliper, height gauge).
  • Work Style: Proactive mindset, high attention to detail, and a strong problem-solving attitude.
