We are looking for a Technical Support Intern who is interested in heavy equipment, tires and technical problem-solving. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in OTR tire applications, field inspections, troubleshooting and customer technical support.

What You'll Be Doing

 The intern will assist the Technical Support team in:

·       Supporting technical enquiries from customers, dealers and internal teams.

·       Assisting with OTR tire inspections and field assessments at customer sites.

·       Learning and assisting in the identification of tire damage, wear patterns and possible failure causes.

·       Supporting the preparation of technical reports, inspection reports and service documentation.

·       Assisting with warranty claim inspections and documentation.

·       Collecting and recording tire performance and field data for analysis.

·       Supporting tire performance monitoring and identifying potential improvement areas.

·       Assisting in providing basic product, tire maintenance and safety information to customers and dealers.

·       Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Quality and Operations teams on technical matters.

·       Participating in customer site visits, including plantations, construction sites, industrial areas and other relevant locations.

·       Performing other technical and operational duties assigned by the supervisor.

What We're Looking For:

 ·       Currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Heavy Equipment & Machinery or a related technical field.

·       Internship period of at least 5 months or as required by the institution.

·       Interest in heavy equipment, OTR tires, automotive or industrial applications.

·       Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Willing to learn and work in a hands-on environment.

·       Good communication and teamwork skills.

·       Basic proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

·       Willing to travel to customer sites, including plantations, construction sites, industrial areas and other field locations.

·       Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage.
