Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance professional to support the financial operations of Sunway Wangsa Mall. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information to support business decision-making.



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and management reportings.
  • Support the day-to-day finance operations, including monitoring cash collections and payment processes.
  • Review and approve e-Cash Requirement Reports for payment processing.
  • Manage and monitor petty cash transactions and controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, project costing, and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Review and strengthen internal control processes and cost management practices.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents, consultants, and relevant government authorities.
  • Prepare tax estimates and support tax revision submissions when required.
  • Review audit schedules and assist in the completion of annual audit exercises.
  • Coordinate insurance-related matters and claims.
  • Prepare and submit SST reports accurately and within the stipulated deadlines.
  • Support finance-related projects and perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Partial or full professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or audit functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in property, retail, or mall operations will be an added advantage.
