We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to lead the maintenance, modernisation, and continuous improvement of production AI services.

This is a senior technical role focused on AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, MLOps/LLMOps, platform modernisation, governance, and production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI/ML and LLM model upgrades, evaluation, testing, deployment, and validation.
• Drive modernisation of AI platforms, frameworks, APIs, cloud services, data components, and supporting technologies.
• Implement MLOps/LLMOps practices, CI/CD, model versioning, automated evaluation, monitoring, and rollback strategies.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, responsible AI, data privacy, risk, governance, and audit requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work closely with Business, Data, Technology, Architecture, Risk, and external technology partners.

Requirements

• 12–16 years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, data engineering, platform engineering, or related technology roles.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks, model APIs, orchestration tools, and data processing libraries.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, model registries, containerisation, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, databases, vector stores, IAM, security, logging, and observability.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale AI platforms and production services.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments is an advantage.
