HECTADATA Sdn Bhd is a software development and IT solutions company delivering technology solutions to help businesses improve their processes, systems, and operations. We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our team and support software development and business improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze business processes and identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Create As-Is and To-Be process flows.
• Work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders.
• Perform basic SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
• Prepare and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test cases and defect tracking.
• Maintain project and requirements documentation.
• Assist in validating that delivered solutions meet business requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and software testing.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of DBeaver, GitHub, *************, or Agile/Scrum.
• Internship or project experience in Business Analysis, Software Development, or Data Analysis.
• Experience with requirements documentation, process mapping, or UAT.
