Full Time Business Development Manager (Contract Logistic) Jobs, in JDA WMS Selangor - Maukerja

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic business development efforts focused on tendering for contract logistics projects. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of logistics operations, tendering processes, and contract negotiations, and is skilled at identifying and converting new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic business development plans focused on tendering for logistics projects
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research
• Manage the end-to-end tendering process, including proposal development, contract management, and negotiations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to support long-term business growth
• Develop and present compelling business proposals and value propositions tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to structure competitive and commercially sound bids
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities
• Support the management of large-scale logistics projects and complex supply chain solutions during and after the bidding process
• Track and report on business development pipeline, win rates, and revenue targets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any related field
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and tendering processes, including contract management and negotiations
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or tendering within the logistics/supply chain industry
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualities

• Experience in managing large-scale logistics projects and complex supply chain solutions is highly desirable
• Existing network of contacts within the contract logistics or supply chain industry
• Experience responding to formal RFPs/RFQs/tenders in a logistics context
