Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in a technical or related field.
• Basic technical knowledge with willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting and follow technical instructions, manuals, or procedures.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage assigned tasks.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to travel, attend site visits, or perform site work when required.
• Knowledge or experience in *IT, electrical, electronics, networking, telecommunications, engineering, or related technical areas* will be an added advantage.
• Minimum internship duration is 6 months

The Technical Assistant intern is responsible for providing general technical and operational support to the technical team, including assisting with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, equipment handling, and site activities.

Key Responsibilities

•  Assist the technical team with daily technical and operational activities.
•  Support installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and basic troubleshooting of equipment or systems.
•  Identify and report technical issues to the relevant supervisor or engineer.
•  Maintain technical records, service reports, checklists, and related documentation.
•  Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, spare parts, and technical materials.
•  Assist with site visits, inspections, and project-related technical activities.
•  Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, vendors, and contractors on technical matters.
•  Ensure all work is carried out according to company procedures, safety requirements, and assigned timelines.
