Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Sungai Buloh. This role supports the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the Centre. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing management accounts, monitoring cash flow, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely closing of monthly and annual accounts. The Assistant Manager Finance will coordinate with internal departments to collect financial data, support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and healthcare-related financial requirements. The role also involves analyzing financial performance, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in accounting and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, reconciliations, and financial analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or local equivalents), preferably within the healthcare or services sector.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide clear recommendations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clinical, administrative, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an advantage.
  • Relevant work experience in finance or accounting, preferably in healthcare, hospital, or service-based organizations.
  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion in handling confidential information, and commitment to ethical financial practices.
  • Ability to work on-site in Sungai Buloh and adapt to evolving organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
