Job Description
The MIS Executive will provide first-level IT support to users and assist in maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. The role involves supporting hardware, software, network, CCTV, and cybersecurity-related activities to ensure smooth business operations.
Note: This is a 1-year contract position, with potential for absorption into a permanent position subject to performance, business requirements, and management approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for end users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, and related software.
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor and support CCTV systems and access control systems.
- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including antivirus management, user access control, and security compliance.
- Perform system maintenance, software updates, and routine health checks.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel when required.
- Participate in IT projects and system improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely resolution of user requests and incidents.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Internship or practical experience in IT support will be an added advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Familiarity with computer hardware installation and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT security best practices.
- Exposure to CCTV systems and monitoring solutions is an advantage.
