- Collaborate with packaging material suppliers to develop, evaluate, and qualify trays, carrier tapes, and other packaging solutions for IC products.
- Review packaging designs, specifications, and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with quality, manufacturing, and customer requirements.
- Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and material-related failures, and drive corrective actions with suppliers to support continuous improvement.
- Support supplier qualification, documentation control, and third-party vendors involved in semiconductor packing, labeling, reinspection, and repacking activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably within Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Assembly & Test environments.
- Knowledge of semiconductor testing, failure analysis, product quality, and manufacturing processes; exposure to automotive semiconductor products is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications; proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software is preferred.
