The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description

• Business owner of a Product Category in Shopee
• End-to-end responsibility of P&L, growth, and customer experience of the category
• Holds Average Daily Order and Average Daily GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Define, implement and execute the business development/growth strategy for the category
• Strong data fluency & analytical skills in driving decisions and commercial strategies
• Continuously analyse the internal and external environment to ensure that the Category under management remains highly competitive in relation to the market
• Hire, train and manage a team of Key Account Managers to help grow and manage your portfolio of merchants
• Retain and optimise key account relationships to drive the overall performance of the Category
• Identify, establish and grow other local strategic partnerships
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field, with at least 7 years of working experience
• Prior working experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, and e-commerce is a plus
• Experienced in management and leadership roles
• Passionate in coaching, mentoring and team management
• Highly analytical and able to generate meaningful and actionable analysis; Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Possess strong business acumen and commercial savviness
